Five women have been killed in South Africa during the month of February, 2013. An increasing amount of violence against women in the Western Cape province has brought young men and women into the streets of Cape Town to call for change. They were gathered in front of the Western Cape legislature on Feb. 21 to demand action on femicide and rape.
