The International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR) has been pursuing justice for victims of Rwanda’s genocide. The court was established in Arusha, Tanzania (site of the Arusha accords) in 1995 and has jurisdiction over genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes.
