The twentieth anniversary of W.A.D. was marked in Toronto with a screening of “Positive Voices: Leading Together” at the Bloor Cinema. It documents the lives of five HIV-positive activists during the International AIDS Conference in August 2006. Lisungu Chieza, Art Zocolle, Colleen Price, Marco Gomes and Brian Finch are all leaders on the issue of HIV/AIDS in Canada, and played a huge role in raising awareness throughout the conference by highlighting the effects of AIDS on different communities in the city.
