On this week’s Montreal urban affairs update, I attend a citizen consultation in Southwest Montreal, where an expressway redesign is causing an expected transportation catastrophe. Southwest community groups and citizens came together to propose an alternative transit strategy.

Also, Southwest Montreal blogger John Davidson’s website called Vanishing Montreal is documenting a recent string of building demolitions, posting photographs of what he calls “the changing face of St-Henri.”
