Feb. 7 was a national day of action by college and university students on their campuses across Canada. Demonstrations took place in front of provincial and federal legislatures, where students demanded lower tuition fees. In Ontario, a clear message was sent to Queen’s Park and Parliament Hill. The message was that skyrocketing fees and student debt must be dealt with or else this new voting force will punish them at the ballot box next election.
