Former U.S. Vice President and current eco-warrior Al Gore spoke to a sold-out crowd on Wednesday Feb. 21 at Convocation Hall. Gore was in Toronto to give his famed lecture titled: An Inconvenient Truth, based on the book and film of the same name. He speaks about the impact of global warming on the environment and produces hard facts that could turn any skeptic into a believer. Recently bringing international attention to a cause he has championed for so long, Gore is now enjoying his celebrity status. He won an Oscar for best documentary and has been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize.
