jhr Rights Report #21: Refugees and IDPs

The 21st edition of the jhr Rights Report starts off examining the viral phenomenon that has come to be known as Kony 2012. First, jhr social media correspondent @DamianoR looks at the work of Invisible Children, then James Topham from War Child Canada talks about alternative ways of drawing attention to a complex conflict.

This week the Rights Report hears from one of the Vietnamese boat people who came to Canada in the early 1980s seeking refuge from war.

Tune-in next week, the jhr Rights Report gets an update from the UN-backed tribunal against Khmer Rouge officials in Cambodia. To listen or download, click here.
