#CityDoc: Montreal’s Fattal Lofts, life on the edge in St-Henri

#CityDoc hears from musician and activist Rob Osler about the precarious living situation for tenants at the Fattal Lofts in St-Henri, Montreal.

These lofts, situated on St-Remi St. on the western edge of St-Henri, are located near a major highway redevelopment and the new super-hospital. The city is putting pressure on controversial landlord Sam Fattal to rezone his property, handing out eviction notices earlier this year.

Now tenants are fighting to preserve the lifestyle at the Fattal Lofts, a place where artists and itinerants call home. Featuring music by Arsenal of Empties at Fattal Fest 2012.
